Dr. Authrine Whyte, MD, PhD
Dr. Whyte is a board certified family physician and a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Physicians. She has been recognized in her career by receiving many awards for her care in medicine.
Prior to becoming a physician Dr. Whyte studied Organic Chemistry at the University of Iowa and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Natural Products Chemistry at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Her interest in naturally occurring substances being applied to medicine was the reason she decided to obtain her MD degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, followed by Residency and Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at
University of Florida/Morton Plant Family Medicine Residency.
Dr. Whyte is originally from the West Indies and brings to medicine a unique perspective on holistic care, and the integration of the best parts of all types of medical approaches to creating and maintaining good health.
Candace Ferguson, MSN, APRN
Candace joined the My Direct Primary Care team to help patients get the care they need without the barriers created by traditional healthcare.

She has worked in healthcare for many years in different fields such as phlebotomy, dietetics, patient care and management before taking time off to raise her children. She has a daughter, Kilee, who loves to play volleyball and a son, Xzavier, who attends UCF.
Leette has a passion for helping and caring for people, and as your patient care coordinator you will get to experience that first hand.
In her free time, Leette loves to travel. She says the beach is her happy place and she enjoys physical fitness. Lastly, but most importantly she absolutely adores her family and friends.
Alyssa LaCambra, RN
In her down time, Alyssa enjoys travelling, attending concerts, and going to the gym. But emphasizes that her biggest passions outside of work are for my family, close friends, and BTS!
